CARE SYSTEM

Across levels of care

Founder Obaro Ogbo experienced care across private clinics, primary health centres, general hospitals, and teaching hospitals, encompassing both private and public facilities across Nigeria. Moving between them showed how easily records, referrals, and follow-up can fragment.

CONNECTED CARE

Infrastructure changes the experience

Connected private hospitals in Lagos showed that the difference was not the commitment of healthcare professionals, but the infrastructure supporting their work.

Engineering background

Nigeria first. Africa in view.

Moving through different levels of Nigeria’s care system showed Obaro how easily records, referrals, and follow-up can fragment. Seeing the difference connected systems could make is why he is building HealthLedger around Nigerian medical operations—from PHCs and clinics to medium-sized, large, specialist, and teaching hospitals. The longer-term ambition is to help more African healthcare providers rely on connected, dependable digital operations.
